ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS
The accommodation expenses will be borne by the Organizing Committee during the period May 27 through 31, 2009. Meals of athletes plus an official per country will be paid by the Organizing Committee starting from lunch time on May 27 up to Breakfast on May 31. The expenses of additional members of the delegations plus any other services at the hotel such as telephone calls, laundry or others will be the responsibility of participants. Delegation members arriving in advance or leaving after the dates established by the Organizing Committee will be responsible for their accommodation and meals.
Athletes and officials will be accommodated at the Meliá Habana Hotel, located at 15 minutes to the Pan American Stadium.
The Meliá Habana Hotel is located in Miramar, on Calle 3ra entre 76 y 80, Miramar, Playa pretty near to Quinta Avenida, 10 minutes from the historical center of the city. 15 minutes (30 km) from the José Martí International Airport and 5 minutes from the Havana Convention Center.
A Farewell banquet will be organized on Saturday May 30 at a place to be lately announced by the Organizing Committee.

MEDICAL SERVICES
All athletes will be guaranteed a primary medical insurance.
First aid services at the competition area will be located in two lateral areas of the Stadium, through the ambulances of the Medical Urgency System (SIUM).
